“Relentless, stubborn optimism.”

“The only way we can save the planet is with relentless, stubborn optimism.”

These are my thoughts exactly!
As a somatic therapist, I see that overwhelm and despair lead to dissociation and immobility; whereas breaking down a problem into small and manageable steps creates forward movement and the possibility of solutions.

This is also congruent with what I am learning by reading Gonzales’ “Deep Survival”, a very interesting read with a fascinating breakdown of the fight/flight response.

Anyway, check out this article in the Guardian, about relentless, stubborn optimism and how it can save our planet (from ourselves).
